We run a purpose built 5 star Country Cat Hotel set in our rural tree filled property with countryside views of our lake and the River Soar. With an abundance of wildlife and fantastic views for your cat, we offer a relaxing and enjoyable retreat for your favourite pets.
We offer a secure facility with 24/7 CCTV and as this is also our home we are on-site to ensure the cats are well cared for. Our automated temperature monitoring system and individual thermostat controlled bedroom heaters ensure we keep our guests at the optimum comfortable temperature.
While cats stay with us, we offer a range of enrichment options including human interaction and play, views of wildlife, multiple hiding places and levels, scratching surfaces and cosy sleeping areas.
During the booking process we will ask you to register your cats details and we will require a photo of their vaccination history as part of our license requirements. The vaccination will need to cover the whole of their stay.
We ask that cats receive flea and worm treatment 7 days before their stay.
We will send you a reminder of your check in and check out times 7 days and 24 hours before your booking.
If anything changes with your cats condition, please let us know.
During your cat's stay, we will regularly monitor your cat's health and wellbeing and provide regular enrichment opportunities including human interaction and play where appropriate. We will ensure the bedroom between your cat has access to fresh air and a temperature monitored sleeping area. We will send you regular updates including photos and videos sent via email or WhatsApp.
When booking you will select a time to collect your cat. If for any reason you cannot make that time please let us know. Additional nights will be charged if we have capacity. If not we will contact your designated emergency contact to collect your cat.
Each cat suites exceeds the minimum size required by UK legislation and can hold up to 2 cats. The suites are made up of a sleeping area which includes an individual thermostat controlled heater and is lovingly decorated and includes shelving and bedding. The "outdoor area" has access to a view of the outside, including storm shutters which allow for air to flow through.
